Posted on: 27 May 2022Platinum Jubilee CelebrationOn Friday 27th May the children from Shatterlocks Infant school joined children at Barton Junior School for an afternoon of celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The weather was kind to us, there was lots of singing and dancing and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Posted on: 19 Oct 2021Year Two Outdoor Learning Day - October 2021Year Two children had a second wonderful day of outdoor learning. They cleared up all of the equipment in the greenhouse and planted more bulbs and seeds ready for them to grow in the spring.
Posted on: 22 Sep 2021Year Two - Outdoor Learning Day September 2021This week the Year Two children had a wonderful day learning outside. They built dens, made leaf prints, completed addition with natural materials, planted in the grounds and produced sketches of the school environment. They finished the day with a campfire, hot chocolate and marshmallows.
Posted on: 22 Sep 2021Open Afternoons for school starters - September 2022Dear Parents and Carers, If you are looking for a school place for September 2022, we are having three open afternoons to give you the opportunity to look around our lovely school. The dates are; Monday 4th October 2021 - 3.15 to 4.30 Wednesday 6th October 2021 - 3.15 to 4.30 Friday 8th October 2021 - 3.15 to 4.30 These dates replace the original open afternoons which were Thursday 30th September and Wednesday 1st December. We have decided that for everybody's safety we will have our visits after school. We are really looking forwarding to welcoming you all into our lovely school for a visit but we are also currently filming a new virtual tour which will be uploaded to our website as soon as it is complete.
