On Friday 27th May the children from Shatterlocks Infant school joined children at Barton Junior School for an afternoon of celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.   The weather was kind to us, there was lots of singing and dancing and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.  

Year Two children had a second wonderful day of outdoor learning.  They cleared up all of the equipment in the greenhouse and planted more bulbs and seeds ready for them to grow in the spring.         

This week the Year Two children had a wonderful day learning outside. They built dens, made leaf prints, completed addition with natural materials, planted in the grounds and produced sketches of the school environment. They finished the day with a campfire, hot chocolate and marshmallows.
